Photography Holidays in Iceland

There are very good reasons for Iceland being such a fantastic destination for nature photographers:

  • Outstanding variety of scenery and landscapes
  • Relatively short distances
  • 24 hour daylight in summer, Northern Lights in winter
  • Variety of light and weather conditions

In the summer there is daylight all day and nearly all night. The clear and pure air gives great brightness which is ideal for photography. Whether you want to photograph secluded sea cliffs vibrant with birdlife or dramatic black lava deserts, icy cold glaciers or boiling mud pools surrounded by volcanoes, green hills or deep blue mountain lakes… it´s all here and, in most instances, not too far apart. In a single day you can get an incredible amount and variety of shots. It has been said that Iceland is a photographer’s paradise, and we certainly find it so.

Being nature enthusiasts ourselves, we have been all over the country, on foot, by jeeps, bikes, skis and boats. We can find you the motifs, compositions and scenery you want. As amateur photographers, we love the tranquillity of constantly finding a new frame – we understand and share your passion. We are committed   to helping our customers get fantastic photographs and a great adventurous vacation.
